There’s one thing to post good advice, but nothing is better than receiving advice from someone very successful.  The person I’m referring to is Kevin Rose.  Kevin Rose is the founder of Digg, a social news website for people to share content online.  Digg brought the sexy back into posting in “list form” because everyone wanted to get to the front page of Digg, and historic data showed that many links going to the front page were in that form.

10 Tips from Kevin of Digg.com

I found a fantastic article from ReadWriteWeb that gives entrepreneurs insightful tips to becoming successful entrepenuers, it was titled Kevin Rose’s 10 Tips for Entrepreneurs.  Here are the top 3 ideas from the excerpt that I liked the most:

1: Just Build It: You don’t need anyone’s approval and in fact, you probably won’t get it, so don’t even try.

2: Iterate: Build, release and iterate. Make a list of the features you want to create over the next six months and get going! For small companies, once a week; for larger companies, maybe twice a month.

3: Hire Your Boss: Make sure you hire people that you would want to work for, who challenge you and you can learn from.

Kevin has done some remarkable things in his life, and I feel that sharing his thoughts on becoming successful as an entrepreneur will spark the right mindset for you and your business endeavors in future.  Don’t let the simplistic tips fool you, it’s the obvious one that are often overlooked.

I love the fact that he says, “just build it.” So many people get caught up in this part and never start. The sooner you start doing something, the quicker you can start seeing a return on your work.
