Yeah. Absolutely. I changed my permalink structure after I already had 200 blog posts. Luckily, there is a plugin out there that quickly set up my redirects (tho if you’re good with .htaccess, its not hard to fix the issue). Get your permalink structure down right away, and enjoy your SEO optimized URLs.

Another great tip is to create a new user with admin rights and delete the the default admin user. The problem with creating a new WordPress blog is that it gives everyone a default username of “admin”. A hacker would already have 50% of the login info.
