It’s always fun to watch the progress of someone’s blog because it gives you that extra push and drive to stick your own plan. I read a great post about a blog that went from 0 to 200,000 visitors in a year and that blog was HowToMakeMyBlog.com. Marko Saric is the owner of that blog and he shows us 8 blogging lessons that took his blog up to a total of 200,000 visitors in a year. Here’s an excerpt of his blog post titled Blog traffic – From 0 to 200.000 visitors, 8 blogging lessons learned:
“I started my how to make a blog on October 25th so this week my blog turns one year. As I have recently achieved the 200,000 visitors landmark, I thought this was a good time to put down some of the things I have learned from the first year that I would recommend bloggers to think of when launching a new project and building blog traffic.”
Marko really hits it home with these lessons on bringing traffic to your blog, but you must have enough content on your blog to keep you users around for awhile before you start using some of his strategies. You’ve tried so hard getting readers to your blog, but all that hard work has gone down the drain there’s not enough content to keep them on your blog.
