For 2010 I decided to switch my workouts from going to the gym to lift weights to crossfit. Crossfit is a strength and conditioning fitness methodology that involves many resistance workouts. What I like about crossfit is that it always changes everyday, so you’re really getting a full body workout while confusing your muscles. Confusing your muscles during your workouts prevents your body from hitting a plateau; therefore, you won’t see any physical change in your appearance because your body is accustomed to your workouts.
P90X Program – Smart Marketing
There’s a fitness program out there called the P90X, you’ve probably seen the infomercials late at night. Well, it’s sad to tell you that this program is really crossfit packaged for the masses and sole at an outrageous price. What you get from that program you can get off of YouTube. Don’t get me wrong, P90X works, but for the amount of money you’re going to cough up, you’re better off using that money for crossfit workout equipment. It’s really a genius marketing campaign if you tell me.
Invictus Workout
Many celebrities have transformed their bodies with crossfit. One person in particular was Matt Damon for his new movie Invictus. Matt was on a hardcore boot camp-like crossfit workout and you can see his body transformation for that movie! Here’s the Invictus workout that he did:
If you feel like you don’t have room in your house to do crossfit, join a local crossfit class and see how much better you’ll feel after a couple of workout sessions. It’s never too late to get fit!

Cross fit sounds great, but youtube videos are less than ten minutes, I guess I would want something that is more structured, like working out infront of the tv for an hour or someone telling me what to do.
