Online Search Engine News Sites
Ever wonder where people find recent online search engine news and updates? There are many reliable resources online that allows you to read current news on the major search engines and see how the algorithm is changing the game. Why should you care? Well…. you shouldn’t if you think you have too much traffic. (Yup, I know……there’s such thing as too much traffic!)
There are many online search engine sites that will help bloggers, webmasters of all levels get up to date on search engine talks online. I’ll save you the boredom of me listing them all and will only list 4 sites for your viewing pleasure.
Search Engine Land – A must read for search marketing and search engines. This is an informational website where you can get vital information about Google and other gurus in the industry. Check this site out from time to time to get “in the know” with SEO 
Search Engine Roundtable – Great site with a great name! Search Engine Roundtable has good information and discussion that includes a forum that highlights a lot of information where you can ask questions and talk to the experts. This is the real deal where you can find out when the algorithm changes, etc.
Search Engine Journal – There’s a lot of great information here that contains SEO tutorials and some guest columnist provide free consulting. It’s a free news base site from experts that give new information on how to optimize your search. You can subscribe to their newsletter as well.
SEO By The Sea – This is for the hardcore techie SEO crusaders out there. This is a very in-depth blog on search optimization, and is not recommended for entry-level marketers. This is not casual reading and is not recommended for techie people with SEO jobs.

Nice resources, I used to check Search Engine Roundtable from time to time, I will include the remaining as well. I also used Google alert when I dont have much time.
i mostly goes tru SEOmoz and SEO by the sea…thanks for sharing some more resources here would go through them too
I have bookmark this page listing your recommended Search Engine sites resources and I am going to visit them to get updated SEO news. I have bought many ebooks to learn about Search Engine Optimization from internet gurus and download some free ones. Hopefully with your recommended resources I can get more advance tips on SEO techniques from SEO experts from the recommended sites. Anything written by Danny Sullivan at searchengineland.com. He had a “very interesting” article about a pretty big security flaw at Facebook.

I like your thinking, for it brings us back to the main point, which is to make the site findable and useable by humans. And as search engines become more ‘human-like’ then it makes sense to optimize for humans.
