Superbowl 2010 is tomorrow! There’s one thing I love watching other than the actual football game on Superbowl Sunday, and that is the commercials! You will understand how important it is to market where the traffic’s at and the cost of doing so once you hear how much a 30 second ad spot during the game is going to cost the advertisers (millions!).
I hear that more and more advertisers are really going to maximize their money’s worth and actually lead the viewers to their sites by adding their url at the end of the commercial. This is smart because if there’s a funny commercial and people would want to watch it over, they can do so with Tivo, DVR, etc. By the time they catch up to real time, they would miss other possible commercials from playing catch up.
So what can we learn about the future of marketing and the internet? It’s alive and well!
