The Book Of Eli – A Blurry Review

I saw a movie tonight called The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington. I saw that RottenTomatoes gave it a score of 48% but I don’t really trust RT’s rankings. The only major gripe I had about the movie was the poor screen quality. I’m not sure if it was the theater we were at, but it literally looked like we were watching a bootleg dvd the whole time.

Without giving the movie away, the action was ok, but the story line could use a little help in my opinion. 30 minutes into the movie we had to talk to the manager because of the blurry screen. When the movie was over, we complained again to the people in the front (hey, that’s $11 bucks of your hard earned money!).

As a result of our complaints, they gave us free tickets for a future visit. So let me ask you guys this, if you’ve seen this movie, did it look a little blurry to you?

When I watched it was fine with me. Am a christian and I enjoyed what the movie depicted, the power of the book. Thanks
