WordPress Database Backup – A Godsend Plug-in

So you bought your blogging domain and hosting site, and now you’re ready to write like a mad man.  What most people overlook when they start up their blog is to back up their database regularly.  Backing up your blog’s database is crucial as you increase your post count, because all your hard work can potentially be gone the next day!  Like many, I’m really bad when it comes to backing up data and if it weren’t for this WordPress plugin, I’d be in trouble.

First, I would like to thank John Chow for referring me to this plug-in.  Anyone serious about building a successful blog should definitely check out John’s blog because he’s got some good info to share.

The WordPress Database Backup plug-in is so easy to use!  What I love about this plug-in is that you can set scheduled backups to perform hourly, daily, or weekly.  You can also save the backup to your server, computer, or even to your email address.  So if you tend to forget about backing up your database like me, this plug-in should be your first plug-in to download.
